Trolls

I just don't get why people put so much effort into trolling/flaming. I can see getting mad and flaming for a few days volleying back and forth (not that I encourage it or like it but it happens...).

There is though a person that has a journal on Live Journal that has been harassing a number of communities (that seem to have no links between them). Asking dumb questions and or being really dumb in the way they act. Like for example posting a 'pro' Ron Paul anti Obama rant in a community for WoW (World of Warcraft) and then in another religion bashing in another community. Then this person goes back to their own journal and copies the whole drama that he has created into his journal before it is deleted in the community journal. He also hounds people and bitches about them.

Why would you want to put this much time and effort into crap like this? Hell there are many communities devoted to bitching about any number of subjects without the flame wars that come from trolling.

I just don't see the point.
