Anyway I thought that I would toss up my favorite US propaganda piece since we have been bombarded for so many months leading up to today for the elections.
First off the most iconic and recognizable one:
This image was in all reality a miss labeling of the character of Rosie. It was one of the many images that was around during the labor crises during WWII to entice women to help during the labor shortage from the lack of factory workers during the war.
And now the Original piece that was first called "Rosie the Riveter":
I love how she has her feet crushing a copy of Mein Kampf! And her look is great! I just love this version of Rosie!
And a Time Magazine cover that is a modern take on this image to run along with their article about teens volunteering:
